A Training Philosophy Rooted in Excellence, Discipline, and Character
Developing complete young men—on the court, in the classroom, and in life.
Core Philosophy
At TG Elite, we believe intentional families deserve an intentional development program. Our training philosophy reflects our commitment to building young men who are skilled, disciplined, coachable, and grounded in strong values.
Faith-Aligned Environment
We create a culture grounded in humility, gratitude, and excellence. While not a devotional program, our conduct, communication, and expectations are rooted in Christian values shared by private, Christian, homeschool, and charter school families.
Skill Development
We teach the fundamentals that translate to real high school basketball systems:
Footwork and balance
Ball-handling under pressure
Finishing through contact
Shot mechanics and shot selection
Passing, timing, and spacing
Basketball IQ
Players must understand why they are making decisions—not just how. We reinforce IQ through:
Film study every week
Situational breakdowns
Small-sided advantage/disadvantage games
Real system teaching (spacing, motion, ball screens, transition reads)
What This Means for Your Son
By the end of the summer, players consistently show:
Improved confidence
Stronger fundamentals
Better decision-making
More consistency and discipline
Clearer understanding of team basketball
Increased leadership and communication
Readiness to contribute to their school programs immediately
Our goal is simple: Prepare your son for the next level—on and off the court.
Character & Leadership
Basketball is a vehicle for shaping men of integrity. We develop:
Every practice ends with a leadership or culture talk that reinforces these values.
