Training Location

Players in private, Christian, homeschool, and charter school programs who want a structured, development-focused summer experience.

No. TG Elite is not a traditional AAU program. We focus on development, character, basketball IQ, and disciplined team play—not ego, politics, or travel-heavy weekends.

TG Elite emphasizes:

  • Fundamentals and real system teaching
  • Leadership and character development
  • Local tournaments only (no travel)
  • Film study and homework
  • A team-first culture free from ego and drama

AAU often emphasizes:

  • Travel-heavy schedules
  • Iso-heavy basketball
  • Win-at-all-costs environments

  • Mixed expectations from team to team

Schedule & Attendance

March 15 – August 2.

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6–9 p.m. at Taylors First Baptist Church Rec Center.

We compete in a minimum of 8 competitive, local tournaments—no travel or overnight trips.

Yes. Consistent attendance ensures proper development and keeps team chemistry strong.

Tryouts & Team Structure

Saturday, March 7 at 9:00 a.m. at Taylors First Baptist Church Rec Center.

We carry no more than 10 players per team to maximize development and playing opportunities.

Teams are formed based on age, skill level, and fit within a team-first culture.

Training & Development

Practices include fundamentals, team concepts, decision-making drills, small-sided games, film study, and a short leadership or culture talk.

Two structured 90-minute sessions, film sessions integrated into practices, local tournament play, and July Open Runs.

Yes. Film is one of the most important tools for building basketball IQ.

Yes—age-appropriate conditioning and movement training are built into every session.

Culture, Safety & Values

While not a devotional program, TG Elite is built on Christian values such as humility, gratitude, discipline, and integrity.

All practices are fully supervised, held indoors at a safe facility, and led by coaches who uphold professional and behavioral standards.

Players are expected to communicate respectfully, work hard, complete assignments, and uphold a team-first mentality.

Gear & Costs

Each player receives a TG Elite performance t-shirt and full uniform, both of which they keep.
Families typically invest $650–$850 for the full summer. Exact pricing will be provided closer to the season.
